DFC® coating passes Surface Flammability Test IMO FTP Code, Part 5 for commercial shipping!
"Full speed ahed" to new markets
PKI-DFC® Premium Surfaces Technologies GmbH had its patented DFC® coating qualified in accordance with IMO FTP Code Part 5 at the DMT GmbH & Co. KG testing laboratory for fire protection in Dortmund.
As such, PKI-DFC® GmbH is now the only supplier in the world that can offer the unique range of surface decoration using the DFC® process in all conceivable decors, also for commercial shipping.
This creates infinite design possibilities for interior refinement, including ship fitments (furniture and components). Whether bar, lounge or wellness elements, the furnishing of suits and cabins, navigation bridges or bull’s eye frames – all conceivable components, in all shapes and sizes and from virtually all metals or plastics, can meet the high safety standards required by commercial shipping.
And what’s more, thanks to our DFC® technology, they are by no means inferior to real wood, which was used in the past. Achieving a perfect aesthetic expression in matt, silky gloss or high gloss is now child’s play.
Even real veneering work, created by putting together real wood veneers, can be performed thanks to DFC®-TrueTEX with patented DFC® technology.
We look forward to advising you on how to reduce production times and, ultimately, cut energy and fuel costs in your shipping projects, by using DFC® technology in combination with unique plastic lightweight construction modules for interior construction. |
